He gave up his job and, in 2005, moved to Philadelphia, where he signed up for a magnetic-therapy trial at the University of Pennsylvania. Weeks after the treatments began, he said, he awoke one morning and found that his depression had vanished. The FDA has approved a transcranial magnetic stimulation system (NeuroStar TMS) for treatment of major depressive disorder in adult patients for whom traditional therapies have failed. MAGNETIC BRAIN THERAPY GETS GREEN LIGHT
The device delivers focused, MRI-strength magnetic pulses to the brain. The procedure, typically administered daily for four to six weeks, takes about 40 minutes and is done on an outpatient basis. In a six-week, randomized, placebo-controlled trial of 164 patients with unipolar, non-psychotic, major depressive disorder the device was associated with a statistically significant improvement in symptoms.

Which magnet good for back/shoulder muscular pains ?....UK

I don’t suppose you can suggest anything for a muzzy head can you – feeling mentally tired, brain fog I think some people call it. Do I need to go and see someone regarding magnetic therapy or is it a case of wearing something that you suggest trying.

MY MOTHER
I would like to purchase a magnetic bracelet for my mother for Christmas. She suffers with her nerves, sleeplessness and her hands. I would be looking at something up to around £50, looks the part and good quality and covers these ailments if possible. What would you recommend please?....UK
MTL - The best product would be the Premier Chain Bracelet, you will have to choose a wrist size though, an average woman is 7 inches. It may help both her nerves and her hands. As far as sleeping goes, a tip is to always have the head facing NORTH (feet obviously to the SOUTH). This, although not always easy to achieve in every bedroom, can often have dramatic positive effects on sleeping patterns. Of course this solution is free, and applies to everyone.
