METAL PLATES AND PINS
After breaking all three bones in my ankle last August, I had a metal plate and large screw inserted. I have just been told that the persistent pain and stiffness is due to arthritis in the healed joint. I first started investigating magnets to help speed healing but was afraid that they were not suitable because of the metal . Can you advise please?....UK
MTL - We have never had nor heard of anyone having problems with implanted pins. Only implanted micro-chips found in pacemakers or implanted hearing aids.
RELIEF FOR SEVERE MIGRAINES
I have suffered from very severe migraines for 15 years and am interested in trying a magnetic bracelet to see if it offers any relief. Would you recommend any particular bracelet in your range as more suitable for this condition ? (or indeed any other piece of jewellery that I could wear all the time?

MAGNETIC DOG COLLARS (Many Letters)
Having got quite a bit of relief myself from wearing a magnetic bracelet I would like to get a collar for my ageing dog, I would therefore like to purchase a collar for him. I can see that your collars are adjustable but could you tell me please just what size they go to? I have a large German Shepherd dog. Many thanks...USA

LADIES HIP PAIN
I have been given your address by my friend. I wondered as well if you can recommend what I could use to help a pain which I get in my hip. My G.P. gave me a steroid injection which helped a bit but still find slightly painful when going upstairs. Trusting you can help......UK
MTL - The Gold 9000 Spot Magnets placed on the Hip Joint at the top of the leg, also at the bottom of the spine, on top of the buttock, could help considerably. The magnets themselves are very strong and do last for about 10 years. However the plasters that attach them to the body need changing every four or five days. Depending on bathing frequency and also perspiration as most plasters do.
