METAL PINS IN LEG
A friend has recently broken their thigh bone. The doctors operated and put pins in. She is in a lot of pain. My experience with magnetic therapy has helped heal injuries and relieved pain. Would it be alright for her to use magnetic therapy on her leg for healing and pain. I ask because of the pins...UK
MTL- We do not usually recommend Magnetic Therapy until the wound from the operation is fully healed. Generally about six months. However, there is no problem using Magnetic Therapy whatsoever with metal pins in the leg. It is quite common.
MAGNETIC BRACELET STRENGTH
Is a bracelet with a higher gauss rating have more effective therapeutic value?...UK
MTL - The term therapeutic is a little ambiguous......if you mean 'pain relief' loosely you could say 'yes' the higher the strength the better...but very loosely. After a certain level around 2000 gauss, the 'pain relief' does not improve much.......then the 'magnetic field' becomes important. On the other hand if by therapeutic you mean say relief of migraine, we have found lower strength (gauss) works better. Again, a totally different sytem applies when discussing 'sleeping systems' ie. beds and pillows. As it does with Body Wraps.
TINNITUS (Ringing in the ear)
I am suffering from severe tinnitus and am hoping that one of your products may assist me in this regard. The cochlea appears to have been damaged due to an incorrect antibiotic, Garamycin, being administered 7 years ago. Do I choose the D-Max Neodymium Magnets or what would you recommend for my problem? Looking forward towards your prompt response in this regard.
MTL - We suggest you put about three of four of the S-2 spot magnets down the face near the ear (where you would have a sideburn) near the problem ear. The S-2 comes in packs of 10 and are on plasters for easy use. They are re-useable with new plasters. The D-Max is not suitable for this condition. Spare plasters come in packs of 100 and the Code is SP-1.

WEARING WATCHES AND MAGNETIC BRACELETS TOGETHER
Would wearing a magnetic bracelet have an effect on wearing a watch and vice-versa?
MTL- Watches will have no effect on a Magnetic Bracelet. However a Magnetic Bracelet could
stop a watch working. In effect though, this only ever happens to expansive watches with
very highly tuned balances, like Rolex or Cartier. When this does happen, removing the watch and gently shaking it will start the watch again without and harm done whatsoever. Obviously, wearing them on opposite wrist, eliminates the problem altogether.
ARTHRITIS IN THE HIP
I have arthritis in my hip and am looking for a wrap for the hip area. Do you have such a product?....UK
AMAZING 13 YEAR OLD DOG
I recently purchased another magnetic collar for my dog.She had lost the one which she had worn for three years, the improvement in her has been amazing and she now has much greater mobility and energy despite being over 13 years old. My question is should I have replaced the collar on a more frequent basis considering how much she has improved. At the same time as buying the collar I bought myself a magnetic bracelet which I have found extremely helpful. I am a reflexologist and so I have been telling my clients how successful it has been so if possible I would like 10 catalogues to give out. Thank you in anticipation...UK

MTL - Sorry no, we do not have a hip wrap. Making a Wrap for the hips is actually quite difficult and up to now not very successful. We always recommend the Gold 9000 Neodymium Spot Magnets as the are very strong. The hip joints need magnets with a deep 'magnetic field' penetration. Three of the Gold 9000 Spot Magnets should be attached to the top of the buttock. And another three on top of the out side leg/hip area. The Gold 9000 Spot Magnets come on plasters so this is quite easy to do. However, the plaster will need changing every three or four days like any other plaster. Spare plasters can be purchased off us (S-2 is the code) or you can cut any normal household plaster to put them back on again. Although these magnets will not repair any damage/wear in the hip. They may well bring substantial pain relief to the area. This can then bring better movement and flexibility which in turn will aid natural healing.
