BACKACHE SUFFERER
I suffer from constant backache but it is a lot worse during the night time so that when I wake up in the morning I am worse than when going to sleep at night - often have to get out of bed during the night and take an aspirin to relieve pain. In the morning I feel as if I have had no rest at all ! I have two hernias in the cervical region of my spine and a collapsed vertebra in the lumbar area. ARTIFICIAL JOINTS and MAGNETIC THERAPY
I am very interested in ordering a magnetic bracelet but before doing so need to check whether or not I would be suitable. I have just read an article which says that magnets should not be used if you have an artificial joint - and I have two!.....UK
MTL - There is usually no problem with using Magnetic Therapy with artificial joints.
We do not recommend using Magnets until at least six month after any major surgery, to give the natural healing time to work. And we of course never recommend using magnets whatsoever, where a 'microchip' has been installed like in a PACEMAKER. However, a lot of people worldwide with all sorts of artificial joints and limbs use Magnetic Therapy. If in any doubt though, have a word with your doctor. Most are now quite aware of Magnetic Therapy.
SWIMMING POOLS and MAGNETIC BRACELETS
It has been suggested that the chlorine in swimming pools renders magnetic therapy
ineffective-is this correct ?..........USA
MTL - No, Chlorine or any Chemical can spoil the surface coating on any Jewellery which obviously includes any Magnetic Jewellery.....this will effect only the cosmetic appearance. So we always recommend to avoid such chemicals....However, it will not interfere with the 'magnetic effect' working of the Bracelet or other Magnetic Jewellery. With continued use though....chemicals will spoil the 'looks'.
