There have been a lot of questions about the use of Magnetic Therapy to stimulate brain activity and to do this for specific purposes.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is being researched and expensive equipment being produced. There are hundreds of web pages devoted to this subject but what should we “make” of it all? Is it the wonder of the twenty first century or simply another tool in the health care armoury?

A non-invasive test that measures magnetic fields associated with brain activity may soon be available to diagnose brain diseases.
Magnetoencephalography — a process by which a sensitive device picks up brain waves — examines the tiny magnetic fields produced by neuron activity in the brain, activity that can potentially act as a biomarker for brain disease.

Magnetic stimulation of the brain is being used to tackle ringing in the ears. Doctors have already treated a small group of patients with a treatment known as repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, or rTMS. Now, a larger clinical trial has started in which patients will receive four weeks of therapy.
Tinnitus is the sensation of a sound in the ear, usually a ringing noise. Although it can be triggered by underlying problems, from earwax to high blood pressure, in many cases the cause is unknown.
BRAINSWAY WIDENS SCOPE OF ITS MAGNETIC STIMULATION PRODUCTS
August 2007 - Brainsway Ltd. has obtained approval from the International Ethics Board (IRB) Helsinki. Committee for clinical trials to test its transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) system to treat post traumatic stress disorder (PSTD). The company expects to begin the trial soon.

Flower power continues to grow, as Brits increasingly see complementary medicines as their treatment of choice, when it comes to healthcare. Recent research by MINTEL shows that, as a nation, we will cough up £191 million on complementary medicines this year alone, a 32% increase in sales since 2002. What is more, MINTEL predicts that sales will break the £250 million barrier by 2011.
Today, almost half (49%) of British women and almost three in ten (28%) men have used complementary medication and would use it again. A further 27% of adults have not yet used these products but would consider doing so in the future.

TINNITUS
What type and strength of magnet should be used and where should they be placed ?...UK
(TINNITUS is a condition that has the symptoms of continual ringing in the ear)
We have had several letters from people who use the Ferrite 800 (S2) all around and
also behind the ear.......The less powerful magnets (800 Gauss) appear to have the best
results we see from our feedback.

I am interested in creating magnetic water. Can you tell me if the water
wand creates north, south or bipolar effect......UK
The Water Wand makes Bi-Polar effect water........
The Water Power Block makes either North or South in quite large quantities...but is expensive.
SHOWERING - WEARING MAGNETIC JEWELLERY
Can I wear my new Bracelet in shower as long as I dry it off after wards?
Yes, you can wear all our Jewellery in the Shower or Bath. To keep the cosmetic appearance though, it is best not to expose your Bracelet (or any jewellery) to chemicals. Like those found in swimming pools or washing up liquid. However, even these will not hinder the 'magnetic effect' in any way. But it could spoil the cosmetic appearance.
MAGNETIC FACE MASK
When I put the mask on my face the magnets do not touch my skin. Is this correct?.....UK
Yes, that is correct....the less actual contact with the magnets the more effective (and faster) it appears to be.....that is why we took the small one out of the Catalogue.....The mask creates a magnetic field around the face any squeezing/pressing on to the face to much interferes with this process. http://www.magnetictherapy.co.uk/pages/html/magnetic_face_mask.html

WORKS A TREAT
Just to say how delighted I am with my bracelet “white ice” and the “silver romulas ring” even though I had to ring up to say that the bracelet fastenings had come undone, I received my replacement yesterday.
