Our normal humour about the British weather has this month gone, replaced with sympathy (and ours) for the many families who have suffered with the floods. Lets hope things get better very soon. It is undisputed that the sun of the later part of the 20th century was behaving differently from that of the beginning. Its sunspot cycle is stronger and shorter and, technically speaking, its magnetic field leakage is weaker and its cosmic ray shielding effect stronger.
NAVY DEVELOPING MAGNETIC CONTACT LENSES - Engadget
It looks like the Navy's Office of Naval Research dipping its toes into the oft-explored business of eye tracking, with a recent patent application revealing plans for some magnetic contact lenses designed to aid fighter pilots and others in need of a hands-free control option. According to New Scientist, the system consists of a magnetic sensor that's attached to side of an individual's head, which picks up changes in the magnetic field caused by the wearer's contact lenses.

Pioneering 3D view of near-Earth magnetic 'dance'.
EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY
Scientists have obtained the first-ever 3D picture of interconnected magnetic ‘dances’ in near-Earth space, known as magnetic reconnection events.
The data from ESA’s Cluster satellites will help to understand better magnetic reconnection, a process related to star formation, solar explosions and the entry of solar wind energy into the near-Earth environment.

MAGNETIC DEVICE MAY PREVENT MIGRAINES
July 2007 NEW YORK - Migraine headaches may one day be zapped away with a hand-held magnetic stimulation device, researchers said.
Migraine sufferers are thought to have cells in their brain that are more active than in other people, according to Dr. Brian Grosberg, a neurologist at Montefiore Headache Center in New York.
"When a migraine trigger is encountered, these neurons or cells fire in a wave and this traveling wave of excitable cells spreads across the surface of the brain and after it spreads there is an area of reduced activity," he said in an interview.

TENSION (Neck & Shoulders)
I am under severe stress and have a constant headache and sore neck and shoulder muscles (and also have sinus problems) I was just hoping for some general relief?...USA
The Magnetic Necklaces, are designed just for your condition, tension in the neck and shoulders ! You could always use a neck & shoulder wrap which work faster, however Magnetic Necklaces are easier to wear on a more permanent basis.
SPOT MAGNETS
I want the 800gauss spot magnets, but don't know the difference between S-1 and S-2. Could you tell me the difference?......UK
S-1 Spot Magnets are very small magnets on small plaster, which are designed for Auricular Therapy, which is acupuncture of the Ear. The Ear has lots of acupuncture points which are quite easy to access because the are near the surface.
S-2 Spot Magnets are still small, but larger than S-1s, these can be used on almost any Body Part for Magnetic Therapy on painful or tense areas. The S-2 Spot Magnets are similar (ours are a little stronger) to the ones found in the 'high street' chemists and pharmacists..
MAGNETIC DOG COLLARS
Having got quite a bit of relief myself from wearing a magnetic bracelet I would like to get a collar for my ageing dog, I would therefore like to purchase a collar for him. I can see that your collars are adjustable but could you tell me please just what size they go to?

The Dog Collars go quite large, up to about 19 inches. Big dogs are fine, however they do not go very small, so they do not fit miniatures.
MISTAKE CORRECTED FAST

SPECIALIST WAS AMAZED
I received my order this morning. Thank you for the extremely prompt delivery. This is my second shoulder magnet from you, the first is now almost worn out. I have torn muscles in my right arm and when I saw the specialist he was amazed at how much movement and strength I had in it as apparently 2 of the muscles are very badly torn. I can only put this down to the magnets as before I started using them I had a lot of pain and quite restricted movement……..unfortunately the muscles are too badly torn to mend. However I think the magnets are helping me recover more quickly. I started to use the old one as soon as I was able to remove the sling at the beginning of the week an can already lift my arm above my head again. I don’t really understand why, but I know that magnets ......UK
