TRAVEL SICKNESS
I have ME. I am interested in whether magnets could  help travel sickness as I recently read somewhere that research has suggested that lack of contact with electro-magnetic energy from the earth causes travel sickness and wondered if this was another application for the magnetic therapy? The combination of ME and travel sickness means going away anywhere is not something to look forward to as it takes so long to stabilize again....UK

Putting a small spot magnet on the Ney Guan (nausea point) acupuncture point, which is situated on the inside wrist about 2 inches up from the wrist/hand crease, will usually eliminate travel sickness in most people. This is how magnetic travel bands work. Some people find that wearing magnets on all journeys prevents Travel Sickness altogether. The Travel Bands are a very easy option. these are not on our website but are available by phone.


WATCHES AND MAGNETIC BRACELETS
Would wearing a magnetic bracelet have an effect on wearing a watch and vice-versa?

Watches will have no effect on a Magnetic Bracelet. However a Magnetic Bracelet could
stop a watch working. In effect though, this only ever happens to expansive watches with
very highly tuned balances, like Rolex or Cartier. When this does happen, removing the watch and gently shaking it will start the watch again without and harm done whatsoever.
Obviously, wearing them on opposite wrist, eliminates the problem altogether.  


ARTIFICIAL JOINTS and MAGNETIC THERAPY PRODUCTS
I am very interested in ordering a magnetic bracelet but before doing so
need to check whether or not I would be suitable.  I have just read an
article which says that magnets should not be used if you have an
artificial joint - and I have two!.....UK

There is usually no problem with using Magnetic Therapy with artificial joints.
We do not recommend using Magnets until at least six month after any major surgery, to give the natural healing time to work. And we of course never recommend using magnets whatsoever, where a 'microchip' has been installed like in a PACEMAKER. However, a lot of people worldwide with all sorts of artificial joints and limbs use Magnetic Therapy. If in any doubt though, have a word with your doctor. Most are now quite aware of Magnetic Therapy.
