CASE HISTORY
MEN'S PROBLEM REVISITED

Recently one of my regular patients who attends for sports related injuries came to me to have a sprained arm muscle attended to. He indicated one unusual characteristic. He repeatedly excused himself to go to the toilet to urinate. I pointed this out to him and he explained that he had been talking to his friends at the club and they had suggested that he had drunk a bad pint (a pint of beer). I explained to him that spoilt food or drink usually manifests its self in other ways.
His symptoms indicated that he may have male urinary tract infection (UTI). Normal urine is sterile. It contains fluids, salts, and waste products, but it is free of bacteria, viruses, and fungi. An infection occurs when microorganisms, usually bacteria from the digestive tract, cling to the opening of the urethra and begin to multiplying most cases, bacteria first begin growing in the urethra. An infection limited to the urethra is called urethritis. From there bacteria often move on to the bladder, causing a bladder infection (cystitis). If the infection is not treated promptly, bacteria may then go up the urethras to infect the kidneys (pyelonephritis).
Conventional treatment may consist of antibacterial drugs and drink of plenty of water.
The Alternative. I recommend one litre of magnetized water twice per day. One litre of Cranberry Juice twice per day. Application of a Super (D Max Neodymium) magnet to the bladder area at night.
Seek medical attention should the symptoms persist past 48 hours.

Testing of New Procedure for Patients with Major Depression.
Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a non-invasive technique that uses repeated short
bursts of magnetic energy to stimulate nerve cells in the brain, is now being tested at Northwestern
Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine as a potential
treatment for participants with major depression. Northwestern will be one of 16 centers
participating in the nationwide clinical trial to evaluate the effectiveness of TMS on participants
who have not responded to antidepressant medications during efforts to manage their depression.

Repelling Cosmic Rays with Magnetic Bubbles.
NEW SCIENTIST
Astronauts could one day be protected from harmful cosmic rays during a long haul spaceflight
by a powerful magnetic bubble generated by their own craft. A new project to investigate the
possibility of fitting spacecraft with a "magnetosphere" of their own, underway at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, US, recently received a cash boost from the NASA-funded Institute for
Advanced Concepts. Jeffrey Hoffman, an ex-astronaut who leads the project, envisages generating

MAGNETIC THERAPY & SKIN COMPLAINTS

Skin conditions are usually connected, at least in part, to problems of excess toxicity in the body. This may be due to a diet that contains too many toxins or to a malfunction in the body's system for dealing with such toxins. More usually it is a combination of both of these factors. Some times it may be an environment that supplies too many toxins that are then absorbed by the body. On rare occasions the body stops rejecting some toxins and on even less frequent occasions, the body generates substances that are toxic to it.
DE-TOXING
In general terms the need is to improve the filtration and elimination system and to improve the flow of blood that carries toxins to the filtration system. One difficulty is the sensitivity of affected skin. It is not practical to stick magnets to areas of cracked or inflamed skin. It is probably wise to avoid areas that have open "wounds" that weep or bleed, altogether.
On other affected places use wraps or bandages that contain magnets and seek to enhance liver, kidney and bowel functions by diet, yoga, homeopathy and acupuncture. If the points are not within the skin damage areas then spot magnets on Stomach 36. Large Intestine 4 and Ren 12 could be beneficial.
Ren 12 is on the front of the body on the centre line about half way between the umbilicus and the bottom of the sternum LI4 is on the back of the hand in the Vee formed by the junction of the bones of the thumb and first finger St 36 is on the out side of the leg just below the knee. A small hollow can be felt when the bones start to diverge.

MAGNETS AND HEARING AIDS
Will the magnetic jewellery like necklaces and bracelets affect hearing aids.
If a person wears both......UK
If the Hearing Aid has a Micro-Chip in (the expensive ones only do) then in theory
magnets could effect the micro-chip. You would have to leave a very powerful
magnet in top of the Hearing Aid for several hours though. So Yes, magnets could
possibly effect Hearing aids. However, we have never heard of it ever actually
happening though. It would be very difficult to do with jewellery.
WASHING MAGNETIC BODY WRAPS
I purchased the above wrap from you a few weeks ago and have found it very
helpful indeed. Because I am involved in sporting activities, I feel that I
will need to wash the wrap sooner or later. Can you please advise whether
this is possible and whether it will lose some of its properties if I do?.....UK
The Magnetic Wrap is ok to wash.....but not in a washing machine.
Hand wash gently in a mild solution of a good antiseptic like TCP
or Dettol and then allow to dry naturally. You can do that every month.
However do not use a Washing Machine or Drier.
