CASE HISTORY

A STIFF NECK

I first saw John aged 42 six weeks ago. Following a road traffic accident in which he received a whiplash injury to his neck. The term "whiplash" is almost always associated with cervical spine injuries sustained after motor vehicle accidents.

My normal procedure in cases of whip lash and other apparent neck injuries is to ensure that the client has recently seen his Doctor. Although neck stiffness can arise from physical neck complaints it is also a common symptom of numerous infectious illnesses. Symptoms were neck pain, headache, fatigue, and shoulder pain. John had been prescribed the normal therapy; anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAI), and fitted with a soft cervical collar.

Treatment. I applied a "D max neodymium Magnet", north pole, to the affected area overnight. By the next morning the inflammation was significantly reduced. Following the application for a further six days the pain had improved appreciably. Because discomfort can last for several months I recommended the use of a large "Magnetic Shoulder Wrap" worn at night.

SOUND SLEEPING FOR FREE - Do you have a sleeping problem ?

Sleeping with the head facing the North Pole is very often the quickest way to
improve sleeping problems. When the body and bed is aligned with the Earths
Magnetic Fields head to the north feet to the south almost everybody appears
to sleep better. Some people find a dramatic improvement in other areas of
their health as well. Obviously in theory it is very easy to do. However, very
often changing the position of the bed for some people can be quite difficult.

INJURIES AND MAGNETS
The use of magnets in helping recovery from injury.

The place where you position magnets to get the best improvement depends on the nature of the problem, this is explained in detail in my books but a simple basic rule to follow is that if the problem is restricted blood supply i.e. cramp, then circle the affected limb above the pain site. In this case above means nearer the heart. The circle should be made by sticking magnets around the limb with about 2 inch (5cm~) between each magnet. It is most effective to place this circle some 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches) above the pain site.

In Shiatsu terms use spot magnets on points where your Shiatsu found depletion.

In acupuncture terms use spot magnets where you would put needles to tonify.

When the problem is an injury that is slow to respond to other treatments (it is important to ensure that there is NO internal bleeding) then place one magnet at the centre of the injury and place others to surround the pain site. Spacing the magnets at 2inch (5cm) intervals.

Magnetic bandages, straps, bandages or supports that contain magnets or magnetic strips, are best used in cases of injury; after all bleeding has stopped, to improve the flows of healing nutrients to the damaged area. They can also be used to improve known areas of weakness. Since repaired tissue is never quite as strong as the original material it is wise to give additional support to places that have suffered in the past, in particular knees wrists elbows and shoulders. The use of a magnetically enhanced support bandage is very advisable as these give physical support and magnetic assistance

For sprains and strains of the wrist use support bandages.

In old injuries that have "recovered" the repair tissue is often only 60 to 70% as strong as the original, thus this is the location of a weak point in future. So if you strain a known weak point, then as soon as possible after the straining, apply magnets around the site of previous injury to prevent pain and problems from re-occurrence.

I have just ordered some of your products and thought that I would enquire about Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Therapy. I have been using permanent magnets for some time now for a serious neck condition that the Doctor's can't get their heads around. I have read a lot about PEMFT and was wondering if you have any plans to stock any of these sorts of devices? The scientific research currently being undertaken seems to high light an amazingly versatile therapy.
NOTE: PEMFT is Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field Therapy

You are correct about Pulsed Magnetic Field devices, they are proving very
successful for many treatments. However, most of the good ones we have seen
have to be used professionally. As in treatment with a Medical Practitioner
and as such would not be suitable to sell to the general public. There is a new
device currently (awaiting test results) in early stages of production that will
be very easy to use and very safe, which we may bring in to our range next
year. Many thanks you for your letter.

SCIATICA

I have had sciatica for about 6 years, and 4 years ago I had 2 epidurals, then 3 sessions of acupuncture which did not do much good. I wear a magnetic bracelet on both wrists. The pain (not as bad as it used to be) is sometimes excruciating. I have some of your spot magnets, and would like to know exactly where to put them, as the pain is from my hip to the end of my big toe.

Put the Spot Magnet in a line down the upper thigh (hip are) to the knee about three inches apart. That is on the outside of the leg and leave them on (change the plasters every few days) for at least a couple of weeks.

We do not stock them. Besides a firm in France who tried making them
and failed a few years ago now.....I know of no suppliers....Sorry..

Yes, the Premier Ball Bracelet has 24K Gold Plating and then an special ionized electro plating put on top. This makes it waterproof.
Generally speaking, it is not water that damages jewellery, it is often
chemicals in the water, like washing up liquid, or 'chlorine' found in
swimming pools that do the damage. The Premier Ball Gold though should last for several years and still keep it's beautiful appearance.

I am interested in magnetic therapy for aches and pains, fatigue, due to M. E
What product would be best ? (e.g. bracelet or insoles or both) ? Could explain the level of magnetic strengths and which is most effective long term.....USA

Most ME sufferer's tell us that Magnetic Insoles work for them best. The ones they use are always Bi-Polar and we have them available. However drinking Magnetic Water has also proved popular, and one person told us that after suffering ME for over 7 years, she was almost back to complete recovery after regularly drinking Magnetic Water for about three months. Of course this is only one person, and every one is different. But it may suggest that there may be some relief and it is well worth finding out which is best for you. And (if you would) keep us informed in your progress. Any of the Bi-Polar Bracelets (Tranquility Ball) may help a little.
