Welcome to our April Newsletter........and a special welcome to all our new European partners joining the EEC this weekend. We know many of you read this Newsletter. We have a lot of items this month with much going on in the field of Magnetic Therapy. A very busy time too for all those who are involved with our company. First here is Rosemary.

By Rosemary Skinner SRN In Europe we are entering the time of year when so many people complain of what is frequently called hay fever. This description usually covers what is called Seasonal allergic rhinitis. Rhinitis is inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose. A definition of an allergy is "Harmful, increased susceptibility to a specific substance," This means that certain substances such as dust or the pollen from hay can cause a bout of sneezing, watering eyes, headache and general discomfort. Some sufferers may suggest that there is no hay for miles around but they still have the same symptoms. Calling seasonal allergic rhinitis hay fever is a misnomer in as much that pollen is a major air borne allergen. You may have heard the "Pollen Count" on the radio, giving precise details of pollen in the air. The type of pollen varies, early spring one can look forward to pollen from trees; later in the summer grass is a major contributor. Oddly enough the pollen from roses and other bright flowers does not usually provoke an allergic reaction In addition to pollen we have spores, the seeds of molds or fungi. Spores thrive in summer and in conditions of high humidity. After a summer rain storm and freshly cut grass would be only two situations to avoid. Indoors, carpets in bathrooms can be areas where mold can thrive. Conventional treatment. Ranges from antihistamines to steroids, the latter used under medical supervision. Tablets, sprays, eye drops and injections. The alternative. Eliminate exposure to the irritants. Close windows during periods of high pollen count. Reduce the humidity by using a de-humidifier. Use a Hepa air filter in living areas. Small powerful magnets i.e. "Gold 9000 Neodymium", applied to either side of the nose are very useful for severe nasal congestion. The "Pain relief Magnetic Headband" can be used for head pain. Drink plenty of fluids. Magnetic water is highly recommended. Details of how to make Magnetized water are in my book. NEWS REPORT Magnetic Chair Helps Women with Bladder Problems.NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Magnetic therapy delivered with a special chair appears to be a safe and effective treatment for urinary incontinence in women, Dutch researchers report. Two main types of incontinence are seen in women. Urge incontinence results from an overactive bladder and is associated with a sudden strong need to urinate. Stress incontinence, in contrast, typically occurs with physical activities that raise abdominal pressure, such as laughing, sneezing, coughing, or exercise. Although each type of incontinence is a distinct entity, many women have features of both. The findings from the Dutch study, which are reported in the medical journal BJU International, are based on a study of 12 women with urge incontinence and 12 women with urge and stress incontinence who received magnetic therapy. Magnetic therapy was delivered with Neocontrol, a treatment chair produced by Marietta, Georgia-based device company Neotonus. The chair features an electromagnetic generator in the seat and dials for controlling the frequency and amplitude of the magnetic field. The patients underwent 20-minute treatments twice weekly for 8 weeks. FULL REUTERS ARTICLE
AMERICAN JOURNAL OF PSYCHIATRY A region of the brain called the prefrontal cortex has an "important role in mediating responses to stressful situations," Dr. Hagit Cohen and colleagues from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, Israel note in the American Journal of Psychiatry. In an earlier study, two patients with PTSD experienced improvements after treatment with magnetic stimulation, they add. In the current study, the group evaluated the therapeutic effects of low- and high-frequency magnetic therapy as compared with fake therapy in 24 patients with PTSD. FULL ARTICLE
NEWS REPORT SEA TURTLES USE THE EARTH MAGNETIC FIELDS CHAPEL HILL -- Among the most accomplished navigators in the animal kingdom, sea turtles often migrate across thousands of miles of open ocean to arrive at specific feeding and nesting sites. How they do so, however, has mystified biologists for over a century. Now, new findings by a research team headed by Drs. Kenneth and Catherine Lohmann, marine biologists at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, indicate that the navigational ability of sea turtles is based at least partly on a "magnetic map" -- a remarkable ability to read geographic position from subtle variations in the Earth’s magnetic field. Previous work by the group showed that baby sea turtles can use magnetic information as a built-in compass to help guide them during their first migration across the Atlantic Ocean. Their latest studies reveal that older turtles use the Earth’s field in a different, far more sophisticated way: to help pinpoint their location relative to specific target areas, the scientists say. In effect, older turtles have a biological equivalent of a global positioning system (GPS), but the turtle version is based on magnetism. FULL ARTICLE

Treating the cause is necessary and fundamental to rebalancing, but to expect any person to tolerate pain for long periods, while doing this, is unreasonable. This is where magnets have such a huge and important duel use. They can treat the pain locally and aid the balance restoration in the overall energy system. They can have short term benefits and treat the longer tern cause as well

I have in the past bought various copper bracelets ( non magnetic ) and have found after a couple of weeks that they discolour and leave a dirty green mark around my wrist. I am looking to purchase a magnetic bracelet and would like to know if these discolour in the same manner.....UK
Real Copper Bracelets (Magnetic or not) will make your wrist go green, that is what they are supposed to do. The 'green' which is copper is then absorbed into the bloodstream, much like a smoking or contraceptive patch works. This is thought to be beneficial for a variety of conditions. The downside is course 'a green wrist' All our other Bracelets (excluding copper) should be fine for you, unless you are allergic to nickel.
UPPER BACK PAIN I already own a magnetic back belt supplied by you and have found it very satisfactory for the relief of low-back pain. I also suffer occasionally with muscular pain and Fibrositis in the upper back area between and around the shoulder blades. None of your products seems to cover this area specifically...it's as though I need a waistcoat with a magnetic back to it! Which of your products do you suggest might be most effective? This magnetic strength is important as the shoulder area is quite dense with muscle and tissue, and less powerful magnets will not penetrate very well. The Gold 9000 can be left on until the plasters need changing......which is about a week depending how often you shower or bath. I have suffered from very severe migraines for 15 years and am interested in trying a magnetic bracelet to see if it offers any relief.
