Welcome to the September Newsletter...........This year has again been a very busy time at MAGNETIC THERAPY LTD. We launched the new website the beginning of July and moved to larger premises in August. Same address (would you believe) and telephone numbers but a lot more space for us now. Actually we only moved to 'almost' next door to our old premises. As Christmas is approaching we will not fill this Newsletter full of adverts for our products...just a little reminder here, that they do make wonderful Christmas gifts for many people.
Rosemary has this month written an article about Anaemia which I know will be of interest to many of you. Peter continues with his Article aimed mainly at practitioners, however this Article on Facial Diagnosis will no doubt be of much interest to none-practitioners as well.

ANAEMIA

Many of us are familiar with the term Anaemia. What causes it and what are the symptoms? Anaemia is a deficiency of a substance called Hemoglobin, a component of red blood cells. Hemoglobin, manufactured in the bone marrow carries oxygen around the body. A shortage of red blood cells means a shortage of oxygen
Do you feel tired, short of breath, have chest pain. You may have anaemia! Other symptoms include brittle nails, dryness of the mouth and throat.

The most common causes of anaemia are nutritional problems, iron and vitamin deficiency. Other causes include medical treatment for other conditions, and chronic diseases that interfere with the production of red blood cells. Anaemia in children is mostly caused by a poor diet which contains insufficient iron. In adults the most common cause is losing blood. Loss of blood can be the result of heavy periods, ulcers in the stomach and duodenum. Pregnant women and vegetarians are particularly prone to Anaemia. Conditions such as Crohn’s disease reduce the absorption of iron.

What can we do to prevent Anaemia? Eat a balanced diet which includes meat. Do not smoke! Medical checks including blood tests are important. Essential during pregnancy.

The complementary treatment. Drink 6fl. ozs of North Pole magnetised water daily. Place a high powered magnet-A -D Max Neodymium Magnet-under the hands morning and evening for 15 minutes twice daily. North Pole under the Right hand, South Pole under the left side. Full details of how to make magnetised water can be found in my book.

FACIAL DIAGNOSIS

To use magnets for the best health care you need to know what is going on, i.e. you need some form of diagnosis—not the current medical establishment version of diagnosis (which is giving a name to a set of symptoms) but real understanding of what is going on. One aspect of the of the multi faceted real diagnosis is FACIAL DIAGNOSIS. The following are a few notes on this aspect of diagnosis. Please note the indications from the face are not absolutes, especially taken in isolation, they are part of a complete picture that a practitioner builds up.

Puffy Lower Eyelids - indicates possible Kidney problems fluid retention
Bags Under Eyes - relates to Kidneys and fear Ginger improves all lower part of body, especially Kidneys

The mouth relates to Digestion
Upper Lip relates to the stomach spleen meridian i.e. intake
Lower Lip to assimilation absorption and elimination (small and large intestine bowel)
Dry Cracked Lips indicate potential digestion problems.

If one area of a persons face dominates then the indications are as follows:-
ZONE 1   top (above bridge of nose) intellect and brain nerve condition
ZONE 2 mid (between bridge of nose and above top lip) sentiment and
artistic work and affection Respiration and Digestion
ZONE 3 Lower (from just above top lip to bottom of chin) Vitality will
power determination dedication. Biological elimination reproduction

NB.   Facial indications do NOT indicate rights or wrongs. NON judgmental

Area known as Third Eye if this area is glowing, expanding, then indicates recovering good health good stamina but if the area is darker shrinking then health is getting worse

Eyebrows express character straight line shows good balance long hair in eyebrows indicate long life and spiritual development

It is said that the brain needs 30 times (vol to vol) more oxygen than other parts of the body  and the eyes need 8 times more than other parts of the body and so the eyes are oxygen sensitive. The eyes indicate much iridology is a diagnostic method that examines detailed changes to the eyes by looking through magnifying lens.

SWOLLEN FOOT

This is a question, I have a swollen foot, a foot may says that it is sesamoiditis, it is on the ball of my foot and although not too painful now I am worried when I have to replace flip flop with shoes again. My sister suggested I tried magnets. I have one of the Haematite bracelets that I have been wearing on my ankle, but would appreciate any feedback if you know of anybody with a similar problem. Last Christmas I was unable to get some shoes on due to the swollen foot.

A pair of Magnetic Insoles (the 100 Plus) may well help you. I would suggest you wear them in a pair of socks whilst you are sleeping........I do know that has helped many people with similar foot problems.

ACNE

Could you please advise me on what kind of product would benefit acne please?.....UK

Drinking magnetic water is the most popular and commonly recommended treatments in all the books on Magnetic Therapy. There are many ways of magnetizing water and we have several products on the website that do this. Applying the North Pole of a Ceramic Wafer Magnet to the affected area can be very beneficial, we are told. So too is washing the affected area with Magnetic Water........
Many of the books written also mention diet and suggest cutting down on dairy products.

SCIATICA

I looked up sciatic pain and ended up at your site. What do you have that would be specifically helpful for the sciatic nerve? I am familiar with magnets and use them now on the wrists. Thank you.......USA

You need to apply strong magnets to the site of the problem, very often (not always) this is the lower back, the pain can be anywhere down the sciatic nerve (which runs down the legs).
The Gold 9000 gauss spot magnets are easy to use and can be very effective on certain conditions and in particular problems where the pain is acute.

UNDERSTANDING GAUSS 'STRENGTH'

Please could you tell me the equivalent to 100 gauss. Thanks ......USA

Sorry, there is not really an equivalent to Gauss.....only another measurement called Tesla,
1 tesla = 10.000 gauss. But the word Tesla is hardly ever used now.....certainly not in the field of
Magnetic Therapy. Gauss is the unit of measurement that manufacturers put on the magnet at the time of
manufacturer. This is not an exactly accurate measurement of magnetic strength though, as other factors
contribute to the strength of the magnet. Size and weight of the magnet are very important. Gauss is
only a guideline to the magnet's strength and is actually based on how much weight the magnet will
lift per square centimeter. Hope this has helped you.

I wear a hearing aid, and use a computer, does that mean I cannot use your
magnetic products ?...USA

Pacemakers - The answer is absolute......
DO NOT USE MAGNETS IF YOU WEAR A PACEMAKER.

Computers...In theory, magnets could affect your computer and if you were to attach a strong magnet directly to one, it probably would affect it. However, we have literally thousand of magnets in our office and our computers are fine. As for wearing a magnetic product when working on a computer....again, we do it all the time.

Credit Card - Disks - Cassette Tapes... If you were to put a strong magnet directly on a credit card, disk or cassette for a long time it could and probably would damage it. Handling any of these whilst wearing a magnetic bracelet or wrap would not.

The best advice we can give is "to keep all magnets away from all appliances"
Obviously tempered with a bit of common sense.
