NEW YEAR THOUGHTS

  We are getting close to a time to reflect on the past year. The papers will soon be full of horoscopes and the TV screens full of “best in 2005” awards. Reviews of political and entertainment events will fill the screens. The cult of celebrity; which seems to permeate ever aspect of life, will run riot. Even health food stores use celebrity figures to promote their goods. It is as if we can not decide on anything unless some actor or sports person (or worse still some one famous for being famous) tells us what to do.

Our personal individual health is our own responsibility, we seek advice from people who have trained and gained experience, but ultimately we are responsible for our selves. So this Christmas reflect on what you can do to prevent relapses in heath, what you can do to promote your own better health. This is where magnets and the knowledge of how to use them, comes in so very useful.

This is not just physical wellbeing. The laws of homogeneous attraction (usually referred to by the old folk saying “birds of a feather flock together”) are similar to the physical laws of magnets. Our emotional condition and philosophical outlook will attract or repel just as the poles of a magnet do. That is, without there being a visible cause of movement. In this time of reflection we should consider ourselves and try to see if we are attracting or repelling. We should also try to see if there are ways we can change things that we do not like. i.e. New Years Resolutions.

When reflecting on the year that is passing, try to see if the changes were intended, were they the changes you wanted? Amongst your new years resolutions try to make room for more learning, more openness and more attraction of good things. Be happy and you will attract happiness.
