SPOT ON (Acne)
By Rosemary Skinner SRN
Acne is the scourge of the teenager. The main features of acne are blackheads and pimples on the face and back. Often wrongly associated with young men leading a hectic lifestyle, it strikes almost every where. Usually but not always disappearing in adulthood. The type of acne with which most of us are familiar with is acne vulgaris. Caused by the over activity of the sebaceous glands, producing sebum, the skins natural moisturizer. Higher levels of hormones increase the production of sebum. Initiating a process which can block the pores. Starting as a blackhead, but if infection follows it can develop into a pustule (a pus filled blister on the skin).
Acne is far more serious condition than non sufferers can imagine. The bulk of sufferers are just about to enter adulthood which is difficult enough with out the psychological factors associated with acne.
Treatment: Takes much longer than many other health problems. 8 to 10 weeks to find out whether a particular treatment is even working. .I always tell my clients: wash face frequently, do not use a face flannel, do not share towels, apply moisturizer after washing. See your Doctor and ask for a referral to a Consultant Dermatologist (skin specialist). Drink (In addition to your normal intake). Two litres of Magnetised water per day.
How to Magnetise Water? “How to” is fully explained in my book
