NECK AND MAGNETIC NECK SUPPORTS By Peter Rose FSI
The neck is a vital part of the body, execution by hanging or beheading shows how much our more barbaric forefathers realised it is a weak point in the structure of the human body.
The neck does not just hold the head in place, it connects all the nerve signals, command communication system; to the whole body and it connects the intake of vital food and air from point of entry to where it is needed. Going the other direction is the blood supply that feeds and maintains the functions of the brain and head. So in this relatively narrow, roughly circular, short bit of pipe work; there is a lot going on.
With all this connecting and communicating, it is no wonder that problems in the neck can cause a disproportionate amount of distress to the function of the whole body. Something, or some one, being described as “a pain in the neck” to show how large a problems is involved, shows how important the neck is. It is also vulnerable.
The head is a heavy object and sudden or extreme changes, in direction of motion, can cause great stress to the muscles and tissues that hold the head in place.
Stress and damage to the muscular structure of the neck can lead to head aches, migraines, restricted passage of air and food, poor blood supply to the brain, problems with speech and to many other problems.
The main structural component in the neck is that part of the spine made up by the cervical vertebrae. There are 7 of these vertebrae. The top one joins to the skull and the bottom one joins to the upper most thoracic vertebrae. The vertebrae are designed to allow turning and tilting movements but they have a restricted range of movement, overdue the demands on the neck and pain will result.
Magnetic Therapy Ltd can supply a really good flexible neck support which also provides magnetic treatment to the upper spine. All of the cervical area is covered and treated in one easy to wear wrap.
In order to promote Magnetic therapy and expand the number of people with knowledge to help others there are now “On Line” Courses in magnetic therapy. These are now available through Magnetic Therapy Ltd or you could look at MAGNETIC THERAPY COURSE The courses are designed to provide sufficient anatomy and physiology to ensure the magnets are used to the best advantage. (Specialist course are available for people who already have qualifications in these)
