MAGNETIC THERAPY AND STRESS by Peter Rose FSI
The newspapers are attaching a lot of attention to the claims that large numbers of people are taking time off work, pretending to be ill, when they are not. It is claimed—I wonder who constructs the figures these claims are based on? How many of those who are reading this have ever been consulted? How does some one make such precise claims with so little actual real factual data? (Especial considering the situation involves people making dishonest claims, they are hardly likely to tell the boss one thing and tell a researcher the truth are they?) But I digress- that more people claim to be suffering from stress and depression, and so take time off work, than those who claim back pain. The implication being stress and depression have vague no physical symptoms and so it is not possible to sort out genuine case from malingerers.
REDUCING STRESS MAGNETIC THERAPY. The change in working practices from physical labour to office based boring but pressurized “mind” jobs will explain the shift in the area of problem. If you suffer from stress, magnets can help reduce the physical effects of stress, the relaxation of muscular tension.
Magnets can also help in more subtle ways to reduce the emotion effects of raised stress levels. Using four magnets on the back just below the bottom of the shoulder blade and either side of the spine, about 1 inch (2 to 3 CM) and 2inches (4 to 5 cm) from the centre line of the spine will help reduce stress that is caused by external influences, i.e. the pressures caused by bosses, spouses, tax demands etc while magnets placed in similar positions but at the top of the shoulder blades just below the top line of the shoulder and just above the top ridge of the shoulder blade, will help with stress that has an internal cause. i.e. those stresses resulting from demands we make on ourselves and the stress of reading that, even in the business and work place, decisions are made on such fragile information. It is not just politicians who make decisions then seek to justify them.
