THE FESTIVE SEASON AND MAGNOTHERAPY
By Rosemary Skinner SRN
Joy and peace to all men. One of the many slogans of this time of year. What does it mean? For many, this season represents isolation and loneliness on one hand and on the other over indulgence and stress. The former can be addressed by taking time out and contemplating the needs of your friends and acquaintances. The latter can be dealt with in a much less demanding way, in a way that does not impinge on ones conscience and costs less.
Stress, as we are all aware, is essential to life. Levels rise at this time of the year due to a multitude of factors. Differing fears ranging from feeling socially inadequate to lack of funds.
In previous articles I have mentioned meditation, structured meditation. This works!
Over indulgence! The short term affects of drinking too much are well known. Long term it will kill you. Several of my patients have asked me for a cure for a hang over. I recommend a "Prairie Oyster", two raw eggs swallowed whole. Followed by two to three litres of water, magnetised if possible. A "Pain relief Magnetic Headband" can be very helpful. The addition of two "D-Max Neodymium Magnets" in the head band placed over the temples can speed up the process.
