LOW FLYING (Insect Bites)
By Rosemary Skinner SRN
Have you ever noticed that early Summer brings out the best of nature. Longer and warmer evenings. Lounging on your lawn on ones own. The chatter of the birds and the distant hum of motor mowers. The faint sound of heavy traffic from the far off motorway. Summer is sweet.
This is a moment to be shared.
Unnoticed I had been joined by other connoisseurs of a summers evening. These were little visitors of nightmares. So here I was bitten. But by what? A quick search revealed one of the more unusual of the biters, a Pigeon Tick. There and then I decided that pigeons would no longer be fed in our garden. Further feelings of discomfort revealed even more bites. Easily identified as a female Mosquito bite. How do you tell the sex of a mosquito? The answer is at the end of the article.
Later I decided on the treatment for my bites, I was in acute discomfort. Care has to be taken to ensure the bite does not become infected. After washing the bite with clean water followed by an antiseptic ointment I applied a magnet. When available I always try to use the strongest available Magnet. I applied a D-max neodymium magnet initially to all of my bites which now totaled 9 in all, for about 4 hours. Then 1000gauss spot magnets for the remainder of the night.
Next morning almost no discomfort from the bites. I decided to face reality! I went shopping.
Only females bite.
GOLFING TIP........ D—Max Neodymium Magnet to wear before and after playing golf. In addition wearing magnetic insoles would be of benefit, plus one litre of Magnetized Water per day.
I emphasized the importance of continuing with his medical treatment, reducing his weight, to stop smoking and to spend less time at the nineteenth. Details of how to treat other ailments and details of how to make Magnetized Water are in my book.
