ARTHRITIS AND MAGNETIC THERAPY
By Rosemary Skinner SRN
Several of my clients have been returning from their holidays with problems. So what’s new? You ask. In common with most therapists most of my clients have various forms of arthritis, in many cases forgotten or put to the back of their minds during the summer. With exceptions Osteoarthritis is usually a problem of the not quite so young. Inflammation of the tissue surrounding a joint. Caused by wear and tear. Rheumatoid Arthritis can strike at any age and is identified as a condition in which cartilage of the joint becomes inflamed. Both types of Arthritis are treated in a broadly similar manner. Magnet Therapy! In Conventional Medical treatment may start with perhaps a steroid injection followed by a course of tablets, described as non steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Two possible problems may arise the tablets may not agree with the patient There are several different types. Secondly the patient my not be taken the tablets as directed. Where the patient has not fully understood how or why the drugs work, patient compliance is low.
The Complementary Answer. Magnetic Therapy. Fortunately a broad range of Magnetic Therapy products exist to help virtually all Arthritis sufferers. Mostly I use the flexible elbow, knee support, and the flexible back support. I always use and recommend the supports from Magnetic Therapy Ltd. of Manchester . I use their supports, with the addition of one or more D-Max inserted in to the support to try to obtain even faster relief.
