POSE OR POSTURE

The majority of us remember being told to sit up straight when we were children but, although your parents might not have realised it, as well as improving appearance, good posture can be vital for every aspect of health and wellbeing.
Incorrect posture causes the bones of the body to be improperly aligned. Muscles, joints and ligaments take more stress and strain than was intended; the end result can be fatigue, muscular strain and compression of blood vessels. Major organs can be affected, leading to health problems such as shallow breathing and hyperventilation.
How is your posture? There are many causes of bad posture. Just looking at two possible causes include, carrying and lifting heavy items including small children may cause rounded shoulders and lopsided gaits, as can untreated minor injuries, which then have a knock on effect of causing more serious damage.
Treatments. After confirming that the client has been medically examined. I consider this important as the client could suffer from a birth defect, osteoporosis or other complaints that are beyond the scope of this article.
